The delegation included teachers-psychotherapists, heads of schools specializing in children with developmental disabilities, and psychologists. Swiss colleagues are interested in partnership with Minin University due to the fact that it is a leader of the Project on modernization of pedagogical education in Russia. Moreover, the university has introduced and is successfully implementing programs on speech pathologies education. What is more, research laboratory of A.S. Makarenko has been functioning in the university for 7 years, master and postgraduate programs on defending children from family violence have been launched. Swiss educational institutes already work with a university in the city of Vladimir and now are looking for a partner in Nizhny Novgorod. Both Minin university and the Swiss delegation demonstrated interest in cooperation. At the meeting they have discussed possible forms of cooperation: experience sharing programs, organizing conferences, internships, master-classes. The opportunity of arranging an in-service education course was also brought into discussion. Minin university has experience in this question. For instance, right at the moment professors of Anhui Normal University, China, are taking such a course.
