The conference took place on December 10-11, 2018 in Berlin. The conference tackled issues of procedures of assessment and maintenance of quality in the higher education system.
The purpose of the club is to help foreign students to maintain and develop their conversational skills in Russian.
On November 26, 2018, an international scientific-practical conference “Strategic lines for the development of inclusive higher education at the present stage” was held at Minin University. The conference was organized by the Resource Educational and Methodological Center (RUMC) for training disabled people and people with disabilities at Minin University.
The largest international conference of professionals and leaders in the Pacific Rim of QS-APPLE 2018 took place in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, from November 21 to November 23, 2018. About 150 delegates from more than 20 countries of the world participated in the event.
On November 9, the Ministry of education of the Russian Federation hosted the all-Russian conference "Public and professional discussion of the implementation and application of the developed model of certification based on the use of unified Federal assessment materials (EFOM) and standard sets of EFOM for teachers 'certification". Minister of education of the Russian Federation O. Vasilyeva was apart of this event.
The objectives of the agreement are effective academic cooperation, scientific and cultural exchange.
Minin University and Anhui Normal University (Wuhu, China) have been partners for five years already. This year, Ms. Anna Vyacheslavovna Erastova, an associate professor of the Department of Russian and Foreign Philology, went to Wuhu to teach Russian language and literature to Chinese students who study Russian.
On October 27, 2018, a seminar on the topic “Formation of linguoculturological competence in classes on the topic of “Seasons” (winter)” was held by Elena Markovna Dzyuba, a professor at the Department of Russian and Foreign Philology. The event is part of a series of seminars for teachers of Russian as a foreign language. The organizer is the Representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Hungarian Republic (Budapest).
Negotiations were held on October 19 th between the representatives of the department of general history, classical disciplines and law of Minin University and representatives of Law Department of Shandong University of Technology (China). At the meeting it was decided to organize law training for students from China and to sign the contract enabling Minin University to enter the international legal center.
Minin University organized a visit of The Education University of Hong Kong delegation to the Russian Federation. Within the framework of meeting further cooperation between higher education institutions was discussed.
As we stated earlier an American girl Nikki Lohr had worked as an English language assistant at the department of English and Chinese. Two more American girls arrived at Minin University within the framework of Fulbright program, and we managed to interview them.
Teachers from China will train students of Russian and Chinese Department in Chinese during 2 terms.

More than 50 teachers from the universities of Russia, the USA, France, Germany, Canada, Malta, Spain, and Greece became participants of the international summer school. Minin University was represented by the delegation of teachers of foreign-language professional communication department.
The Festival of student associations of Minin University was held on September 3, 2018, where first-year students and guests were able to get acquainted with the branches of extracurricular activities of Minin University students.
The training took place in August 2018. The Education University of Hong Kong is a partner of Minin University. It is one of the strongest universities in the world; it ranks 2nd in Asia and 9th in the world among pedagogical universities (QS World University Ranking by subject 2018). The topics of the Summer School were "Academic Writing" and "Research Methodology".
It is the fifth year when the Minin university conducts advanced training courses for teachers from China. This time, following the tradition, the representatives from Anhui Normal University had an intensive business and cultural program.
During the 10 days of their visit, the students visited the museums of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region; they took part in workshops and lessons in Chinese and Russian together with the students of Minin University.
Today, August 5, an opening ceremony was held at Minin University to give a start to training courses for Chinese teachers and students who came from Anhui Normal University (ANU) to exchange experiences.
More than 300 participants from more than 20 universities of China, Russia, the USA, France, Germany, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and Japan took part in the event. Russia was represented by a delegation of teachers from Minin University.
