February, 14 a delegation of Chinese students arrived in Nizhny Novgorod to see the sights of the city, in particular, K. Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University. On the 15th of February our Chinese friends were warmly welcomed by professors and students of the university during the opening ceremony of Winter school.

Alexander Fedorov, the rector of the University, Tatyana Lebedeva, the head of international cooperation and academic mobility center and Galina Samoilova, the dean of the Faculty of Humanities, greeted the guests. They wished the Chinese guests to spend time with benefits, make new friends and expressed hope for Minin and Anhui universities to cooperate productively. Then Ms. Van, the chaperone of the group of students, took the floor. She also expressed hope for productive cooperation and stressed that she is glad for Russia and China to be partners, as they are united by long-standing cultural traditions.

Then the delegation was greeted by students, studying on a double bachelor degree (Russian + Chinese). They admitted that the cooperation with Anhui University helps them to share experience, acquire new knowledge and study in the language environment.

After the official part Russian students were glad to perform for our Chinese friends. They prepared songs in Chinese and Chinese dances. At the end of the event a tour of the university was held for the students.
The Chinese guests had a lot to do: visit Nizhny Novgorod museums, walk around the city, visit the city of Semenov, participate in master classes there, and, of course, during the stay in Russia, students learnt the Russian language and Russian history.

The delegation left Nizhniy Novgorod on February, 19.
