On March 1, 2017 the festival of world's nations was held at the faculty of management and socio-technical services. The event was aimed at introducing students to cultural customs of peoples from different countries. This year students from Armenia, Tadzhikstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Cameroon, Columbia, China, Russia and some other countries participated in the event.

The Festival of World's Nations passed in an informal setting and included several platforms: the exhibition of art and household items, the photo-zone “The homeland of mine” and the foodcourt of National cuisine. The participants of the art exhibition spoke about the history of their countries, the customs of everyday life, their culture. They introduced each other to the features of folk art, national costumes and musical instruments as well.

The photo-zone “The homeland of mine..” have met the participants with bright and colorful pictures of architectural and cultural monuments, national celebrations of any sort, landscapes and different living features.
The Foodcourt has become the most “delicious” part of the Festival. The participants have been presenting national dishes of their countries. There was even an opportunity to taste them. Some time later one could learn some secrets of cooking those dishes.

Dancing and music were included in the program of the festival as well. The most exciting things about the event were communication with people of different countries, the lack of which we experience in everyday life. Another highlight of the event was a flash-mob. International boundaries were blurred and the language did not get in the way. The representatives of each culture had a chance to share information about their motherland and which guests listened to with enthusiasm.
