On the 28th of February the pedagogical training session for second year students in the Master’s program ,specialty “ Pedagogical Education”, profile “Teaching Russian as a foreign language” took place. This was the first time when the training took place in Warsaw, thanks to the contract signed between Minin University and Russian Language School “Samovar”.

The candidacies of two students in the Master’s program, Anna Kiseleva and Olesya Gudima, were not chosen accidentally. During their studies to obtain the bachelor’s degree in our university the students were studying Polish and when they entered the master’s program, they started to dream about teaching Russian to foreign students of Slavonic origin.

Our students in the Master’s program conducted lessons for adults at school “Samovar”. This school attracts those who show interest to Russia in terms of tourism or business contacts. They were lucky to visit Warsaw University (The faculty of applied linguistics of the Institute of specialized and international Communication), where Anna and Olesya not only attended the lessons of the second year of master’s program, but also conducted some lessons for the students of the first , second and third year of Bachelor’s degree course. The young teachers brought some references for the future job application.

In the course of training the students in the Master’s program were lucky to visit two seminars in translation from the series of seminars called «Word for Word», organized by the Center of Polish and Russian communication and agreement situated in Warsaw.

Anya and Olesya have a really warm feeling towards their students, openness and interest to their lessons, scientific ideas, they are expressing gratitude to the tutors of the program from the Polish side, the headmistress of the school Marina Bolyevskaya and the training supervisor Polina Yustova, and also to the teacher of Warsaw University pani Patricia Spitek.

And, of course, a big thanks to rector Alexander Alexandrovich Fedorov and Minin University for the opportunity of acquiring brilliant teaching experience.
