On April 12, 2019, the Department of Foreign Language Professional Communication held an event for the program "School of Intercultural Communication", a delegation of schoolchildren and teachers from China, as well as guests from Nizhny Novgorod Gymnasium No. 13 were hosted by Minin university.
The meeting was attended by 11 students and 2 teachers. They came from the school for gifted children of Chongqing under the guidance of the school’s director, Zhang Hesun, who came to Nizhny Novgorod to learn the Russian language and culture. They were joined by 11 students from gymnasium No. 13, headed by the deputy director O.Ye. Rokunova. At the round table devoted to the study of foreign languages, the senior teacher of the department of foreign language professional communication T.G. Charchoghlyan made a presentation on Minin University’s successful interaction with Chinese partner universities. Senior Lecturer of the Department M.V. Aksyonova conducted an open Russian language lesson for the Chinese guests, who learned to read Russian words with pleasure and repeated new phrases. At the end of the meeting, students from group RKI -17 A. Zemtsov, M. Kuzin and A. Sadiyev entertained the guests with interesting facts about Nizhny Novgorod.
The guests were also pleased to meet with Chinese teachers working at Minin University on an exchange program with Anhui Normal University and were happy to hear about their experience in Russia.
