Hong Kong talked about the features of the process of publishing in international journals and the principles of positive education.

Lo Sing Kai, Ph.D., Dean of the Graduate School of the Education University of Hong Kong, spoke to students about the development of his research and writing articles. Issues related to the social impact of research were also discussed.

Dr. Ruth Wong, associate professor at the Department of English language Education at the Education University of Hong Kong, introduced students to the terminology of “positive education” and compared different educational contexts. In the group discussion, the participants exchanged experiences and considered the possibilities of applying positive education in different schools.

Lectures were attended by students from Faculty of Humanities and teachers and graduates who participated in the corporate program “English for professional activities” and noted the practical importance and interest in new, interesting approaches presented by Hong Kong State University.

Representatives from the Education University of Hong Kong and Minin University held a working meeting, including negotiations of areas of future cooperation. The universities plan to include joint research projects in the fields of education, language education and linguistics.

Minin University and the Education University of Hong Kong launched a new joint Master's program in International Education in the autumn of 2019. As part of the program, teachers from the Education University of Hong Kong will conduct the disciplines of all five modules of the program and give a series of lectures. Dual training is also planned: research will be conducted under the guidance of teachers at Minin University and the Education University of Hong Kong.

Next year in summer, graduate students from Minin University will attend the Education University of Hong Kong as part of the summer school.
