A delegation from South Korea has recently arrived in Nizhny Novgorod. The delegation consists of Youth policy department representatives and secondary school students. The students are going to stay in host families for a week which is supposed to help them get to know both culture and the language better. The visit has been organized by the Department of international relations of Niznhy Novgorod region.

The rector of Minin University Alexander Fedorov had a visit to South Korea and Singapore in April. This time he welcomed Korean guests at home, wished them a pleasant stay in Russia and expressed his hope for further cooperation between the University and the Republic. After the welcome speech a class of Russian was organized for the guests. The class was delivered by Doctor of Philology, teacher of stagecraft Elena Kirdyanova. It was conducted in a form of a stand-up master class and was on vowel sounds of the Russian language. At the same time Russian students accomponying their Korean peers had a class of Chinese which was given by Mr Vaughn, a native speaker working at Minin University.
