Dear students!

Minin Nizhny Novgorod state pedagogical University welcomes you to take part in «Minins Sommerschule — 2015» in August 2015. The school will take place from the 15-th to the 29-th of August in the capital of the Privolzhsky Federal region on the basis of one of the oldest universities of the region.
 

Minin Nizhny Novgorod state pedagogical University was founded in 1911 and now it is one of the oldest higher educational institutions in the region. It is a University with rich tradition of teaching the Humanities and with modern powerful educational potential. Today at the pedagogical University more than 10, 5 thousand students study teacher education, as well as a number of other areas of professional orientation, including design, psychology, geology, social services, philosophy and theology and others.

Summer school in Nizhny Novgorod state pedagogical University after Kozma Minin is a great opportunity to plunge into University life, to feel the unique atmosphere of College life and to taste the classical University education in the old school. This is a wonderful chance to take advantage of University scientific laboratories, libraries, to attend lectures and seminars of the best teachers of the University. Classes in Minin Summer school will be conducted by leading professors of the University, heads of scientific schools and directions.

Summer school offers its participants a varied cultural program. Within two weeks German students will see and learn a lot of the history, culture and life of Nizhny Novgorod, visit museums and other places of interest of the city and region, try our national cuisine and enjoy the famous Russian hospitality (download the Summer school program).

The summer school will let students from Germany:

  • acquire the necessary competence in the fields of theoretical and practical learning of the Russian language;
  • expand the broadness of understanding of culture and social structure, traditions and everyday life of modern Russian cities;
  • set Russian-German intercultural dialogue in the course of cooperation of the young generations of the two countries;
  • feel the most positive emotions.

The participation in «Minins Sommerschule — 2015» costs 650 euro.
