A group of Minin students majoring in teaching English and Chinese spent an autumn term in Chinese University. They share their emotions in the article.

On December 26th, Minin University held a concert entitled “The Christmas Spirit.” Students from the Department of Humanities performed numbers in the five different languages taught in their department: Russian, English, French, German and Chinese. The concert was the first of its kind at the university.

The name of this report is "From the pedagogical university to the university of education: concept of transformation". The event will take place on December, 7.

This year students of the faculty have taken part in the program carried out within a partnership agreement with touristic agency "Antares" in co-operation with international company Kilit Global Tez Tour. The students spent 6 months in Turkey.

Students of the Minin university have just come back from an unforgettable journey to China to Autumn school of language and culture. Students got lots of impressions and emotions. The delegation consisted of students from Humanities, Psychology, Social-technical, Physical education, Design and Biology departments accompanied by the professor of the Chinese language from the Department of foreign professional communication Tatiana Charchoglyan.

Guanchzhou (PRC) - Under the auspices of Russian-Chinese intergovernmental commission of humanitarian cooperation the Seminar called “A dialogue between China and Russia on educational strategies: the modernization of education in prospect of 2030” was held. This event became a starting point of realization of the cooperative research project of Chinese national Institute in the field of education and National Research University “Higher School of Economics” of Russia.

September 13th - September 15th, 2017 - the VII All-Russian Forum of the Association of Foreign Students (AIS) of Russia was held in the city of Kursk on the basis of the Southwest State University (SWSU), whith Minin University taking part.

Evgenia Ryzhkova and Ekaterina Taschilina, 3rd year students of Humanities Faculty, have studied  the Polish language, literature and culture for a month at the Summer school of Silezsky University in city of Katovitz. Free of charge studying at this school was a result of the Polish representatives' invitation within the Polish Republic Senate grant.

Summer school for students and postgraduate students from Poland and Czech Republic "Bridge over the Volga" was given a start on August, 14. Students will have two weeks of Russian classes and sightseeing.

Teachers and students of Anhui Normal University spent two weeks in Nizhny Novgorod and at Minin University in particular

The purpose of the visit is to establish co-operation between Physical education departments of the two universities

The agreement between Minin University and Széchenyi István University (Győr city, Hungary) is aimed at increasing the quality of higher education teacher programs.

David Evans, ELT books author and TED speaker, and Tim Pearse, an English language teacher, specialize in improving English language teaching worldwide. They came to Minin university to shere thier expertise with students and teachers of both Minin university and the region.

The new edition includes an article about the national Portal of inclusive education, which is developed by Minin University.

The event was organized by the embassy of Chinese People's Republic in the Russian Federation.

The event was held in one of Nizhny Novgorod universities. Students of different faculties took part in the event.


The delegation came to establish partnership relations with Russian universities and colleges, including students' and teachers' exchange programs.

European educational committee ERASMUS + organized professor’s visit within the program of raising academic mobility. Minin university (specialists in Russian language and linguists of faculty for humanities) entered this program in 2015.
